In 1994, Paranapanema founded Cibrafértil in order to make use of the
sulfuric acid, a by-product from the operations of Caraíba Metais.
After investing in single superphosphate plants (acquisition of an old
single superphosphate plant from Fosfanil / State of São Paulo), Cibrafértil
started operating in February 1995. |
