General	Quimetal is a well-known Chilean company dedicated to the manufacturing of industrial and agricultural chemicals based on copper, sulfur, molybdenum, magnesium and aluminum. With more than 60 years of experience in the production of chemicals, Quimetal has developed a full range of products that serve both national and international markets. An organization that bases its corporate strategy on its secure access to raw materials, continuous innovation of productive processes and the ability to meet the most demanding requirements of its customers.In 1990, Quimetal built a plant in southern Chile (Mininco, IX Region) that provides sulfur dioxide, magnesium sulfate, and aluminum sulfate to the main wood pulp plants in the country. Since then, Quimetal has, continuously and uninterruptedly, met its contract obligations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This plant also produces ammonium bisulfite for the food industry and magnesium sulfates for agriculture use.
