| General |
Established on December 13, 1990 as a joint venture of TPI Polene, Ube
Industries, Marubeni and Bangkok Bank, TCL is the only producer and
distributor of Caprolactam and Ammonium Sulfate in Thailand and South East
Asia region. The company's current registered capital is 8,660 Million Baht
and its production technology is under license of Ube Industries, a world
leader in Caprolactam manufacturing with over 40 years experience. Located in TPI industrial estate, the company commenced operations in 1996 with a capacity of 70,000 tons/year for Caprolactam and 280,000 tons/year for Ammonium Sulfate. In 2012, production capacity was expanded to 130,000 tons/year for Caprolactam and 540,000 tons/year for Ammonium Sulfate. |
