Wengfu Phosphate Ore is located in Fuquan City and Weng’an County of Guizhou Province; its mining area is 17.5 km in length from north to south and 3~4 km in width, covering an area of 58 km2. It boasts a geological reserve of 820,000,000 ton and an industrial reserve of 580,000,000 ton, where 230,000,000 ton can be exploited in open cut mine, with an average grade of 25%; the phosphate ore has low cadmium content and good chemical reactivity. At present, the production capacity of phosphate ore is 4,950,000 tons/year and that of phosphate concentrate is 2,820,000 tons/year; by 2015, the ore mining capacity will reach 7,500,000 tons/year. The production scale of Wengfu Phosphate Fertilizer Plant, Wengfu Phosphate Industry Development Corporation, GuizhouYunfu Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., GuizhouWengfuLantian Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd. in Machangping Industrial Park of Fuquan and WengfuJianfeng Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in Duyun City, Guizhou includes 900,000 ton phosphoric acid, 2,000,000 ton sulfuric acid, 2,500,000 ton phosphate compound fertilizers (diammonium phosphate, monoammonium phosphate, NPK compound fertilizer, BB fertilizer, triple superphosphate and single superphosphate), 160,000 ton phosphoric acid for industrial use and food, 150,000 ton sodium tripolyphosphate, 30,000 ton food-grade phosphate, 100 ton iodine, 20,000 ton anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, 200,000 ton ammonium sulphate made from phosphogypsum, an annual production of 30,000,000 m2 gypsum boards made from 300,000 ton phosphogypsum, and a railway special line with an annual transfer capacity of 3,450,000 ton. The Hongfu Brand diammonium phosphate and monoammonium phosphate were respectively entitled as famous-brand products of China in Sept. 2003 and Sept. 2005. In May 2004, both the two products were entitled to the exemption from national inspection. In Sep. 2006, Hongfu Brand diammonium phosphate won the title of famous-brand product of China again.
