Introduction

The SULFOMAX® series are high performance catalysts for the production of sulfuric acid. They feature different formulations and innovative shapes, covering all operating conditions in the sulfuric acid process.  SulfoMax has a proven track record in sulphuric acid plants. Whether the preferred outcome is to reduce emissions, increase productivity, maximise energy recovery, decrease pressure drop or extend catalyst lifetime, SulfoMax is the product of choice for sulphuric acid production.

Catalyst Types

The physical properties of the catalyst are provided in the following table and a brief description of each catalyst is given below.
